Covid-19: Bangladesh registers 17 more deaths, 15527 new cases

Bangladesh reported 17 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 28,273 across the country so far.

Besides, some 15,527 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 17,31,524 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Wednesday (January 26).

Alongside, as many as 1052 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 15,60,006, the release said.
