Terrible fire breaks out in Naryanganj factory

A terrible fire has broken out in a textile factory at Madanpur in Narayanganj.

The fire ensued around 4:00 pm on Friday (January 28) afternoon. Sixteen units of Fire Service are working to douse the blaze. However, no casualties have yet been reported.

It was learned that the fire ensued at the second floor of the factory. There were no workers in the factory as it was a weekend.

Arefin Siddique, assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service, confirmed the matter.

He said, “Being informed, sixteen units of Fire Service have rushed the spot immediately. However, reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.”
