Complaint filed over assault, Taskin denies

 A complaint has been filed with the capital’s Mirpur police station against national team pacer Taskin Ahmed for allegedly beating one up and giving a threat.

 However, Taskin denied the allegation and claimed that his friends were beaten up.

Mirpur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Sajjad Rumman confirmed the allegation. 

On Monday (July 28), he said, “The complaint was reported to Mirpur police station in the afternoon. We are investigating. If the investigation finds true, legal actions will be taken. The complaint was filed by a youth on Sunday night.” 

Meanwhile, Taskin denied the allegations in a conversation with risingbd.
