Edu’ institutes in rented houses will no longer enlist for MPO

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has put emphasis on own land and building for education institutes.
She said educational institutions in rented houses will no longer be enlisted for Monthly Pay Order (MPO) in future.
The Minister said this at a virtual meeting on the private educational institutions MPO Policy (Amendment)-2020 on Tuesday.
Dipu Moni said the educational institutions already enlisted for MPO will have to shifted to own place by 5 years.
She said educations institutions of any Trust or Organisation will be enlisted for MPO based on opinion of the members. The institutions of any Trust which have already enlisted for MPO, it will be cancelled if the Trust wants.
However, MPO enlisted teachers of the institutions can join other MPO listed institutions if they wish, she added.
