Four of national football team test coronavirus positive
Four players of national football team have tested positive for coronavirus.
The news came like bolt from blue ahead of qualifiers of the World Cup and Asia Cup.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced a 36-member squad for the World Cup and Asia Cup qualifiers who have been staying at Sarah Resort Residential Camp in Gazipur. Before joining the camp, footballers were asked to test coronavirus with own initiative. Then, defender Biswanath along with his wife diagnosed with coronavirus. He did not join the camp as he has been taking treatment at home.
On the first day, 12 footballers join the camp. BFF conducted coronavirus test for them. Among 12, three found contacted with coronavirus. They are: M S Bablu, Nazmul Islam Rasel of Police FC and Sumon Reza of Uttara Baridhara.
