The election is scheduled to be held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
The BFF took the decision at its 19th executive committee meeting on Tuesday (August 11).
BFF incumbent President Kazi Salahuddin chaired the executive committee meeting.
After the meeting, senior-vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy said, “We have decided to hold the election on October 3. FIFA and AFC will be informed in this regard. 139 voting delegates have been approved on the occasion of BFF’s Annual General Meeting.”
The BFF election was scheduled to be held on April 20, 2020 but was postponed on March 27 for an indefinite period due to the coronavirus pandemic and on March 31 FIFA approved the current committee to carry out its duties until the election.
