Asia’s world cup qualifiers postponed

Asia's qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Not only the world cup but also the 2023 Asian Cup football in China has been postponed, AFC in a statement said on Wednesday.
The matches will be held in a suitable time in 2021. So, Bangladesh is not going to join any matches this year.
Bangladesh was scheduled to play match against Afghanistan in Sylhet on October 8. The team was also scheduled to play an away match against the host Qatar on October 13.
"FIFA and the AFC will continue to work together to closely monitor the situation in the region and to identify new dates for the respective qualifying matches," they said in a joint statement.
