Mashrafe sustains injury before returning to cricket

Mashrafe bin Murtaza has sustained a hamstring injury. The former national team captain got injured during personal fitness training. It was learned that Mashrafe received hamstring injuries while running three to four days ago at the City Club ground in Mirpur.
Mashrafe is currently taking rest on advice of the doctor of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). He will undergo a scan very soon. The right-handed pacer will take next step after receiving the scan report.
BCB's chief physician Debashis Chowdhury, “I have talked with Mashrafe. He sustained hamstring injuries. He is currently at rest. One of our physios visited him. He needs to be scanned. The next decision will be taken after receiving the report. It is better to have a scan on the fourth day. Then we can understand how much he has been hurt.”
