Bangabandhu T20 Cup to start on Nov 24

The Bangabandhu T20 Cup consisting of five teams will be held from November 24 to December 12. A total of 24 matches will be played in the tournament.

The tournament will be started through the match between Beximco Dhaka and Minister Group Rajshahi on November 24.

Domestic cricket leagues were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. After eight months pause, BCB decided to resume the game in a bio-secure bubble.

Five local organizations have come forward to sponsor the domestic cricket tournament.

The five teams were named after the name of five divisions. They are- Fortune Barishal, Beximco Dhaka, Minister Group Rajshahi, Gemcon Khulna, and Gazi Group Chattogram. All the matches will be held at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
