Former footballer Badal Roy dies
Former national team footballer Badal Roy has passed away.
He breathed his last on Sunday (November 22) evening while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital in the capital.
He left behind his wife, a son and a daguther.
Bangladesh Football Federation general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag said that the veteran footballer breathed his last at about 5:30 pm at the Bangladesh Medical College hospital.
The former vice-president of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) was admitted to Asgar Ali Hospital on November 5 after he fell seriously ill. There he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was on the verge of death as the cancer was on 4th stage. He was taken to Square Hospital s days later. He was shifted to Bangladesh Medical College Hospital Saturday.
