Khulna beat Barishal by 4 wickets

Gemcon Khulna beat Fortune Barishal by 4 wickets in the 2nd Match of Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka on Tuesday (November 24).

Ariful Haque smashed a quick 48-run innings off 32 balls, powering Gemcon Khulna to a thrilling win over Fortune Barishal. He hit four sixes while two fours.

Shamim Hossain scored 26 runs off 18 balls with three fours and a six while Jahurul 31 runs from 26 balls with three fours and a six as well.

For Barishal, Taskin Ahmed and Sumon Khan bagged two wickets each. Mehidy Hasan and Kamrul Islam shared a wicket each.

In batting for Barishal, Parvez Hossain Emon hit a brilliant fifty (51) off 42 balls with 3 fours and four sixes.

Towhid Hridoy scored 27 runs from 25 balls while Mahidul Islam Ankon 21 runs from 10 balls.

For Khulna, Shahidul Islam smashed four wickets for 27 runs. Shafiul and Hasan Mahmud shared two wickets each. Shakib Al Hasan bagged a wicket.
