Our Myana is returning home: KKR

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has welcomed all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan. The KKR welcomed him on twitter writing in Bengali, “Our Myna is returning home.”

The cricket sensation was bought by KKR for Rs3.2 crore following a bidding war with Punjab Kings on Thursday (February 18) .

Shakib played in eight editions of IPL so far six times for Kolkata Knight Riders and twice for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Getting back him again after three seasons gap, the KKR are seemed really happy.

The left-handed all-rounder was bought by KKR in 2011 and played for them till 2017. Posting photos of Shakib and Umme Shishir, the KKR again wrote, “We have bought our first Knight of this.”
