Bangladesh beat Kenya to clinch 5-nation Kabaddi title

Bangladesh clinched the title of the five-nation Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi Tournament organised on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s Independence and the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The boys in red and greens beat Kenya by 34-28 points in the final match at the Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium in the capital’s Paltan on Friday (April 02).
Arduzzaman Munshi of Bangladesh team became the man of the match while Tuhin Tarafdar won the award for the best of the tournament.
Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka, Nepal, Poland and Kenya one by one in the group stage. After the final match, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal handed over the trophy to the winners.
