IPL postponed due to Covid-19 situation

Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed finally as coronavirus cases and deaths continue to rise across India.

The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) took the decision to postpone the game today in an emergency meeting as players of several teams tested positive for Covid-19.

Yesterday, the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders was postponed hours before its scheduled start in Ahmedabad after two Kolkata players tested positive.

Varun Chakaravarthy and Sandeep Warrier from Kolkata Knight Riders tested Covid-19 positive yesterday. Today, one player from SunRisers Hyderabad and another player from Delhi Capitals tested positive for Covid-19.
