BCB issues strict directives for cricketers during Eid

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has advised national team cricketers to be cautious during the Eid holidays. As much as possible, they are asked not to go out of homes.

The instructions were given by the board to avoid coronavirus infection.

Bangladesh will play an ODI series against Sri Lanka a week after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Lankans are coming to Bangladesh on May 16 to play three ODIs. The cricketers have been on leave since yesterday (May 11) after optional practice. Most of the cricketers will stay in Dhaka. Some will go village home. The BCB has issued additional warnings to ensure that everyone is safe from coronavirus infection.

BCB has issued the strict instructions to the cricketers to celebrate the Eid during the coronavirus epidemic. They have been asked to avoid public gatherings as well as to maintain health guidelines. The medical department of the BCB has already delivered the message on the cricketers’ mobile phones. There is a clear text on what can and cannot be done during the holidays.
