Mohammedan postpones Shakib’s media briefing

The Authority of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited has postponed the scheduled press conference of ace all-rounder and Mohammedan Sporting Club’s skipper Shakib Al Hasan for an unavoidable reason.

Mohammedan Sporting Club in a statement sent to the media confirmed the postponement of the media briefing.

Shakib was supposed to brief media today at 3:30 over his position about the untoward incident that took place in the match against Abahani Limited.

Shakib Al Hasan was awarded a suspension of three matches in DPL for losing his temper and kicking over the stumps in a wild reaction to an umpire. He was also fined Tk 5 lakh over the incident.

According to the Mohammedan Club, Shakib was supposed to give his personal and club opinion on the allegations against him and the punishment for the unwanted incident that took place in the match against Abahani Limited.
