New Zealand have set a 162-run target for Bangladesh in the fifth and final Twenty20 of the five-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur in Dhaka on Friday (September 10).
The visitors, thanks to brilliant fifty-run innings of Tom Latham, scored 161 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Opener Finn Allen hit a quick innings of 41 runs off 24 balls with four boundaries and three over-boundaries.
Another Rachin Ravindra scored 17 runs from 12 balls with three boundaries.
Will Young bagged 6 runs from 8 runs with a boundary and Colin de Grandhomme 9 runs off 8 balls with an over-boundary.
Skipper Tom Latham (not out) scored 50 runs from 37 balls with two boundaries and as many over-boundaries.
Henry Nicholls hit 20 runs from 21 balls with two boundaries while Cole McConchie scored 17 runs from 10 balls with three boundaries.
For Bangladesh, Shoriful Islam smashed two wickets while Afif Hossain, Nasum Ahmed and Taskin Ahmed shared a wicket each.
Mentionable, Bangladesh already have the series in the bag, as they lead the Kiwis 3-1.
