Bangladesh set 154-run target for Oman

Bangladesh have set a 154-run target for Oman in their second, also one of the ‘do or die’ matches to qualify the ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2021,  at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat of Oman on Tuesday (October 19).

The Tigers, thanks to Mohammad Naim’s brilliant half century, scored 153 runs for losing all wickets in 20 overs.

Mohammad Naim hit 64 runs off 50 balls with 3 boundaries and 4 over boundaries.

Shakib Al Hasan posted 42 runs from 29 balls with six boundaries before he fell trapped of run out.

Mahedi Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin hit a duck each while wicket-keeper Nurul Hasan bagged three runs. Afif Hossain returned to the pavilion after adding just one run to the tally. 

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 6 runs from 4 balls and Mahmudullah Riyad got 17 runs from 10 balls.

For Oman, Fayyaz Butt and Bilal Khan smashed three wickets each for 30 and 18 runs respectively. Kaleemullah got two wickets for 30 runs and skipper Zeeshan Maqsood bagged a wicket.
