South Africa beat West Indies by 8 wickets

South Africa beat West Indies by eight wickets in their second match of Super 12 phase of ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Tuesday (October 26). With this, the Windies lost the two matches in a row.

West Indies, thanks to Evin Lewis’ 56 runs, set a 144-run target for eight wickets in 20 overs.

In chase, South Africa reached the target losing two wickets with remaining 10 balls left.

Aiden Markram hit a quick innings of 51 runs off 26 balls which includes two boundaries and four over boundaries.

Rassie van der Dussen scored 39 runs from 30 balls with three boundaries.

Reeza Hendricks posted 39 runs while skipper Temba Bavuma two runs.

Earlier, in their innings for West Indies, Left Handed Evin Lewis registered 56 runs from 35 balls with three boundaries and 6 over boundaries.

Skipper Kieron Pollard scored 26 runs while Lendl Simmons 16, wicket-keeper Nicholas Pooran 12 and Chris Gayle 12 runs.
