Abahani clinch Federation Cup title

Abahani clinched the title of Federation Cup Football beating Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society by 2-1 goals in the final held on Sunday (January 09) at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Kamalapu in the capital.

This is the 12th Federation Cup title victory for the club.

However, Rahmatganj had a chance to defeat Abahani and end the 88-year title victory drought. In that journey they were playing well against Abahani in the beginning. But the record-breaking Abahani did not take time to sort themselves out.
