South Asian Pro-Boxing Fight Night begins 19 May

Bongo, one of the country's most popular streaming platform partners with Xcel Sports to exclusively stream, "The Ultimate Glory - South Asian Pro-Boxing Fight Night,” one of the first of its kind in Bangladesh.  The international pro event will be held on 19 May at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium.

With the approval of the Bangladesh Boxing Federation, sponsored by the World Boxing Federation, and supervised by the Boxing Council of India & Punch Boxing Series in collaboration with Max Boxing Promotion, Nepal, this event is going to be one of the most exciting event being held in Bangladesh this year. The Pro-Fight Night will be held with the top six boxers from Bangladesh, India, and Nepal. The boxers who participate in this fight night will fight for the 'The Ultimate Glory' championship.

Boxing, MMA and, Wrestling are quite popular in Bangladesh. Now the sports lovers of the country can enjoy such sports events live. Xcel Sports have made this dream come true by organizing this mega sporting event which will be streaming live on Bongo.

From Bangladesh, the participants are pro-boxer Mohammed Alamin, lightweight champion Sur Krishna Chakma, and Bangladesh's cruiserweight champion Hira Mia. From Nepal, welterweight champion is six-time national champion Bharat Chand are competing for the championship at The Ultimate Glory - South Asian Pro-Boxing Fight Night. Nepal's lightweight champion Mahendra Bahadur Chand, five-time national champion, and India's junior cruiserweight champion Harsh Gill will also fight for the glory.

T-Sports will broadcast on TV while Bongo will stream the event live. Spectators attending the event will be able to enjoy it from Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium on 19 May 2002 from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Adnan Harun, (Chairman, Bangladesh Boxing Foundation) says, “We are trying to introduce different sporting events outside of football and cricket. Besides, one of our goals is to introduce the country's talented boxers to the international arena. We are grateful to have our partners and sponsors with us.”

From Bongo, Deputy Chief of Business Development, Mr. Mamun Atik says, - There is no shortage of exceptional sports in the international arena. There is wrestling, MMA, kickboxing, boxing and much more. However, the sports fans of our country are familiar with all these sports. There is not much practice or promotion of it in the country. We are delighted to be here for the second time as a streaming partner in this exceptional event of Xcel Sports. We are hopeful that our viewers will love this unique event."

Both Bongo and Xcel plan to work on different sports events in 2022. The event is sponsored by Orion Group, Premier Bank, Innstar, Securex Private Limited, 5R, Pepsi, Kloth, T-Sports, and Bongo.
