West Indies-Bangladesh Test series named after Padma Bridge

The much-awaited Padma Bridge is all set to open for public on June 25. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the 6.15km long dream bridge on the day.

To highlight the background and arrival of this multi-purpose bridge across the world, the upcoming two-match Test series between West Indies and Bangladesh has been named after Padma Bridge.

Bangladeshi electronics and tech giant ‘Walton Group’ has been made the proud ‘Presented Sponsor’ of the series which is scheduled to be launched on Thursday (June 16). The official name of the series is ‘Padma Bridge Dream Fulfilled Friendship Test Series Presented By Walton’.

The first match of the series is going to be launched at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua on June 16. The second match will begin at Saint Lucia on June 24.
