SAFF champions girls return home

Proud winners of the SAFF Women’s Championship-2022 have returned home.

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the SAFF champions girls landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 1:45pm on Wednesday.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel and staff of BFF received them. 

An open-top bus arranged by Bangladesh Football Federation and the government will carry the girls and will parade from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to the BFF House in Motijheel.

The Bangladesh girls clinched their maiden South Asian Football Federation Women's Cup by beating Nepal 3-1.
