Bangladesh whitewash UAE 2-0

Touring Bangladesh whitewashed hosts UAE in the two-match T20 series, outplaying them by 32 runs in the 2nd and last match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Tuesday (September 27).

Bangladesh made a flying start in the series beating the United Arab Emirates by five wickets in the first match on Sunday (September 25) at the same venue.

Bowler Mosaddek Hossain made the major damage in the UAE innings grabbing two key wickets for eight runs.

Taskin Ahmed, Nasum Ahmed, and Ebadot Hossain took one wicket each conceding 22, 36, and 24 runs respectively.

Chasing a moderate target of 170 runs in 20 overs, UAE started to lose their wickets in a continuous manner and managed to score 137 for 5 in their 20 overs.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh was adjudged player of the match.

Earlier, UAE captain Chundangapoyil Rizwan won the toss in the match and sent Bangladesh in batting.
