Women’s Asia Cup: Bangladesh beat Malaysia by 88 runs

Bangladesh women team have beat Malaysia by 88 runs in the 11th match of the Women’s Asia Cup T20 2022.

The Tigress had set a target of 130-run against Malaysia. Nigar Sultana and Murshida hit half century.

In reply to the target, Malaysia started to lose their wickets on a continuous basis. Malaysia managed to score 41 runs only losing their all wickets.

Fariha Trishna made a hat-trick on debut. She claimed Malaysia's three key wickets. She got her first success at 5.2 Overs removing Duraisingam. Later, she bagged the wickets of Mas Elysa and Mahirah Izzati Ismail respectively.

Earlier, Bangladesh women team captain Nigar Sultana won toss and opted to bat first. The Tigress scored 129 runs losing 5 wickets.
