1 killed, 2 missing in Bandarban landslide

Bandarban Correspondent: A person was killed and two others are missing in a landslide in Dalianpara area under Ruma Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ching Mehla Marma, 19.

Sources said that after the landslide, seven people went missing. Later, locals recovered four injured people and a body from the spot. However, two persons named Singme Ching, 17, and Munni Barua, 35, are still missing.

On information, members of fire service, Red Crescent and military are conducting rescue drive in the area. 

Confirming the matter, Bandarban Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiq Ullah said that details can be said after ending the rescue drive.
