Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: At least 10 houses were gutted in a devasting fire in the port city Chittagong on Monday morning.
The fire broke out from electric short circuit of Sharafat Ali's house in Katgar area of Patenga Thana.
Kamal Uddin, Deputy Assistant Director of Agrabad Fire Service Station, said that the fire started from Sharafat Ali's house and later it spread around the neighbor houses.
After receiving information, five units of Bandar Thana and EPZ Fire Service brought the fire under control.
