10 hurt in ctg BCL-Cop clash

Staff Correspondent: At least 10 people were injured as Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists clashed with the law enforcers in Chittagong University on Thursday noon.

Sources said that the clash erupted following a protest waged by BCL men demanding the authorities to allow one their suspended fellow activists to sit for final year examination of journalism department.

Later, the BCL activists cut the pipes of coaches of a shuttle train at university rail station. As a result, Rail communication with the university was disrupted with Chittagong town.
