14 Hajj agencies to face legal action

Senior Reporter: As many as 14 Hajj agencies are likely to face legal action for breaching code of conduct and illegal activities in Saudi Arabia.
The Religious Affairs Ministry served show-cause notices.
Assistant Secretary (Hajj) SM Moniruzzaman said the allegations brought against the agencies are failure to provide services and misconduct with the pilgrims, keeping their pilgrims at government rented houses illegally and damaging country's image abroad.
The Religious Affairs Ministry has started investigation into the allegation against them.
They were asked to submit explanations to the ministry within seven working days.
