Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: At least 14 houses were gutted by fire in Natunbazar area of Shirirchala under Gazipur Sadar upazila early Saturday.
According to Sreepur Fire Station sources, the fire originated from a tin-shed house of Shahjahan Mia around 5:30pm and soon it engulfed 13 adjoining houses.
On information, two firefighting units from Sreepur fire station rushed to the site and doused the fire.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
