14-party to support Sheikh Hasina’s candidate

Staff Correspondent: The ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance has decided to lend support to Sheikh Hasina-nominated aspirant for the by-election in Dhaka North City Corporation.

Spokesperson of the 14-party alliance and Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said this at a meeting of alliance leaders at AL president Sheikh Hasina’s political office at Dhanmondi in the city on Monday.

Alliance leaders Dr. Dipu Moni, AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Abdus Sobhan Golap, Abdus Sabur, Sujit Roy Nandi, Reazul Kabir Kawsar, SM Kamal Hossain, Rashed Khan Menon, Anisur Rahman Mallik,  Dilip Barua,  Shirin Akter, Sheikh Shahidul Islam, Shahadat Hossain,  Dr. Shahidullah Sikder, Dr. Wazedul Islam, Asit Baran Roy, SK Shikdar, among others, were present.
