15 additional DIGs promoted

Staff Correspondent: Fifteen Additional Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of the police have been promoted to the rank of DIG.

The Home Ministry issued an order in this regard on Thursday.

The 15 Additional DIGs, who are given promotion as DIGs are—Additional DIG of Police Headquarters Abu Hasan Mohammad Tarik, Commandant of  PTC, Tangail Dr Hasan Ul Haider, Police Commissioner (Current Charge) of KMP Md Humayun Kabir, Additional DIG (T&IM, Dhaka) Morshedul Anwar Khan, Additional DIG of Rab Md Shahabuddin Khan, Joint Commissioner of DMP YM Belelur Rahman, Commissioner (Current Charge) of RMP Md Mahbubur Rahman, Additional DIG of Police Headquarters Dr AFM Masum Rabbani, Additional DIG of Police Headquarters Barrister Md Harun-Ur-Rashid, Joint Commissioner of DMP Meer Rezaul Alam, Additional DIG of Dhaka Range Mohammad Ali Mia, Director of Rab Selim Md Jahangir, Additional Commissioner of CMP Devdas Bhulttaharje, Director of Rab Khandkar Lutful Kabir, Additional DIG of Police headquarters Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud.
