150 students fall ill after consuming deworming pills

Jehnaidah Correspondent: Over 150 students fell ill after consuming deworming tablets in schools in Shailkupa upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

Sources said that district health sector distributed deworming tablets among the students in several schools in the upazila this morning. Firstly, the student of Achintapur secondary school fell sick. Later, students of Debtala, Kabirpur, Hitampur, Katlagari and Gayashpur primary schools fell sick.

The sick students were sent to Sailkupa Health Complex and Sadar Hospital.

However, the doctors said that there is nothing to be panicked over the sickness. The students fell sick due to excessive heat. The problem can be termed as psychological illness.
