1st ODI: Bangladesh batting against West Indies

Sports Desk: Bangladesh are batting against hosts West Indies in the first match of the three-match ODI series at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Sunday.

Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.

But the play was halted due to rain after Bangladesh reached 10/1 from 4.4 overs. The play resumed after a break of 28 minutes.

After the loss of the Test series against West Indies, cutter master Mustafizur Rahman is appearing in the match for Bangladesh.

Chris Gayle and Andre Russell are back for the West Indies. Russell returned to the ODI side for the first time in three years.

Bangladesh playing XI: Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan,  Mahmudullah Riyad, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Rubel Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman.

West Indies playing XI: Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope, Jason Mohammed, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder (captain), Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, Devendra Bishoo, Ashley Nurse and Alzarri Joseph.
