Sports Desk: Bangladesh managed to score 151 runs after 42 overs on the final day on Sunday to save 1st Test of the two-match series against Sri Lanka at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The host safely crossed 100 runs without any break at Day five on Sunday morning. Mominul Haque and Liton Das have already showed their batting strength. Mominul Haque has picked a half century during the crucial time of the final day.

Earlier, Mominul Haque was at the crease when the bails were drawn for the 4th day after the dismissal of Mushfiqur Rahim on the day’s final count of Bangladesh innings.

The Lankans scored 713 runs losing nine wickets and declared the innings.

Bangladesh had posted 513 runs in their first innings.
