2 held with 2.5kg gold in Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: A team of Dhaka Customs House detained two passengers with 12 gold bars weighing 2.5Kg gold bars from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday.
The two detainees are- Ishwar Das and Gurjan Singh. Both of them are Indian citizen.
Customs House sources said that acting on a tip-off, the two suspected passengers were identified. Later, the law enforcers seized 1.295kg of gold from Ishwar Das and 1.325kg from Gurjan Singh.
The approximate market price of the gold bars is Tk 1.31-crore.
