2 killed in Ctg road accident

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: At least two people were killed as a covered van hit another covered van in West Madarbari area under Sadarghat Thana on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Md Aktar Hossain (27) and Fakhrul Islam (30). They were labourers.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadardhat Thana Nejam Uddin confirmed the matter.

According to sources, labourers were unloading products from a covered van but another covered van hit it from the backside leaving two injured.

They were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where they died at night.

Police seized the vehicles.
