2 medical students die after trapping in quicksand

Staff Correspondent: Two medical students died after becoming trapped in quicksand in a tourist spot at Lalkhan in the district’s Jaintapur upazila.

The incident happened around 5.00pm on Tuesday when they were bathing.

The victims are Md Sayed (25) and Ishak Ibrahim (25). Both were the students of Kishoreganj Jahurul Islam Medical College.

After rescuing them they were immediately taken to Jaintapur Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctors declared them dead.
