2 muggers bullet-hit in city gunfight

Staff Correspondent: Two muggers received bullet injuries in a gunfight between Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel and muggers in capital's Azimpur area on Tuesday noon.
The injured are identified as Mosharraf Hossain, 39 and Monir, 35.
Confirming the matter, RAB Legal and Media Wing's Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan said that the law enforcers tried to stop a microbus in area around 2:30pm. Meanwhile, muggers opened fire aiming RAB officials which triggered a gunfight, leaving the two injured.
The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he added.
