2 pedestrians killed in Sirajganj road crash

Sirajganj Correspondent: Two pedestrians were killed as a pickup ran over them in Soydabad area in Bangabandhu Bridge West Link Highway on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Jahangir Hossain, 30, son of Abdus Sattar and Shamim, 32, son of Anwar Sheikh.
Jahurul Islam, Sub-inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge West Police Station said 6-7 workers were waiting for transport around 7:00am. Meanwhile, poultry laden a pickup van ran over them, leaving the two dead on the spot injured four others.
Later, locals rushed to the spot and sent the injured to local hospital.
