Staff Correspondent: Two people have awarded with death penalty for killing technician of Hyundai Lead Company Zakiur Rahman Juwel and his friend Sabuj in the capital’s Gulshan.
The court has also jailed two persons for life term in the case.
Judge of Speedy Tribunal-4 Abdur Rahman Sardar pronounced the verdict on Thursday.
The death penalty convicts are Kawsar Molla and Farhad Gazi who are on the run.
Those who are given life term jail are Suruj Mia and Suporna. They have also been fined Tk 20,000 each. They will have to serve one more year in prison if they fail to pay the fine.
