2 workers electrocuted in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Two construction workers were electrocuted in Joydevpur area of the city on Thursday night.

Two workers were also injured in the incident.

The deceased were identified as Yakub Ali, 48, son of late Deyanat Ullah in Kurigram district, and Nur Islam, 42, son of Ajim Uddin in Narayanpur area of Joydevpur.

According to police, they were working at an under-construction building named Abed Plaza. Suddenly they came in contact with live electric wire and were electrocuted.
