24 districts get new DCs

Secretariat Correspondent: The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to 24 districts.
Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday to make the decision effective immediately.
According to the notification, those made DCs newly include 11 deputy secretaries, the zonal executive officer of Dhaka North City Corporation, the personal secretary to the Environment and Forests Minister, a director of the Prime Minister’s Office, a deputy project director of the Urban Primary Health Care Welfare Project and the personal secretary to the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Administration Ministry.
