25-point recommendations for transport sector

Staff Correspondent: The National Committee to Protect Shipping, Roads and Railways has proposed a 25-point recommendations to return disciplines in transport sector.

The organisation came up with the recommendations in an urgent press conference at Mukti Bhaban in the capital on Saturday.

The committee also made an observation of deploying army in the capital and removed very important personalities of the state from the leadership of private organisations.

Ashsish Kumar Dey, general secretary of the committee, read out the written speech at the conference.

The recommendations include-To hand over the responsibility of the capital's traffic management to army to reduce jams and to stop undated vehicles, to deploy army at all bus terminals in the capital to relieve bus owners from extortion.
