2nd Padma Bridge on Paturia-Goalanda point

Parliament Correspondent: Government has a plan of constructing second Padma Bridge on Paturia-Goalanda point on Dhaka-Faridpur highway. The Preliminary Development Project Proforma (PDPP) has already been approved in principle.
The disclosure was revealed in the parliament session chaired by Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury while replying to question raised by former minister Shajahan Khan (Madaripur-2) on Tuesday.
As per rules, Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader was supposed to reply to the question. He is currently undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
