3 die after inhaling toxic gas in tank

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: At least three workers have died after inhaling toxic gas in an under construction building in Sataish area of Gazipur city corporation on Monday. 

The deceased were - Atik, 25, Shahin, 28 and Faruk, 22.

Locals said two siblings Atik and Shahin went down to the tank of the newly built building around 12:00pm. But, finding no sound of the two, Shahin also got down to tank and remained missing. Later, on information, fire service rescuers rescued them and sent to hospitals. But, the doctors declared them dead.

Tongi police station Kamal Hossain confirmed the matter.
