3 judges appointed to Appellate Division, oath Tuesday

Staff Correspondent: President Abdul Hamid appointed three judges of the High Court (HC) Division to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday.

With this, the number of judges in the Appellate Division is seven.

Those newly appointed judges are Zinat Ara, Abu Bakar Siddiquee and Md Nuruzzaman.

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain will administer the oath to the Judges at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge at 10:30 am on Tuesday.

MD Saifur Rahman, a special officer of the Supreme Court, confirmed this to risingbd.com this afternoon.

Currently, there are four judges at the Appellate Division and they are Syed Mahmud Hossain, Muhammad Imman Ali, Hasan Foez Siddique, and Mirza Hussain Haider.
