Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: At least three people were killed and six other were injured as a bus ran over an easybike on Sunday morning.
The accident took place around 7.00am in Monthona area of Hazirhat area of Rangpur.
Sergeant Naushad, in-charge of Taragonj Highway Police outpost, confirmed the matter.
According to locals, two of the deceased died on the spot while a Thakurgaon-bound bus of the Hanif Enterprise hit the easybike while and the other one was taken to hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
The injured have been admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
