3.60 lakh posts vacant in govt agencies

Staff Correspondent: Ismat Ara Sadek, State Minister for public administration ministry said that some 3.60 lakh posts remain vacant in different ministries and other government agencies in the country.
The state minister made the disclosure on behalf of Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam at the National Parliament on Monday.
"Now the number of total vacant posts in different ministries, divisions and departments is 359,261 in the country," she said.
Necessary steps have been taken to fill the vacant posts. Recruiting people to the vacant posts is a continuous process, Ismat Ara Sadek added.
