Staff Correspondent: A total of 3,056 aspirants have submitted their nomination papers across the country to contest the 11th general election.
Election Commission (EC) secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed made the disclosure while addressing reporters at capital’s Agargaon on Wednesday night.
The EC secretary said a total of 361 aspirants from Rangpur Division, 353 from Rajshahi, 351 from Khulna, 182 from Barishal, 236 from Mymensingh, 708 from Dhaka Division have submitted nomination forms.
Besides, 39 nomination forms were submitted through online, he added.
